Hobart Northern Suburbs Rail

I have been supporting and following Ben and Kristie Johnston, a young couple from Claremont (my old stomping ground!) who are campaigning for the return of passenger rail in Hobart. 

I can remember travelling to school on the old trains and think that the northern suburbs would only benefit from their reintroduction.  There are many other MPs and community leaders who are also joining the campaign, which is great.

The Johnstons have been holding a number of public meetings and the presentation from their last meeting, chaired by Glenorchy Councillor Luke Martin and held at the Glenorchy Civic Centre in January can be found in the "Opinion Pieces" part in the "News" section.
